ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

We write and produce musicals that combine Biblical clarity with Broadway quality. We have produced from the New York stage, off-Broadway, to nationally and internationally, for budgets reaching millions of dollars. Our musicals—acclaimed by theatre critics from such media outlets as Backstage, MTV, and The New York Times—weave comedy, romance and dramatic power into beloved, inspiring stories of grace.

EDUCATION

Sanborn Musical Productions also trains the next generation of Christian artists. We have coached both young amateurs and acclaimed professionals. We helped launch the School of Music Ministries, International, and we co-founded the Live Oak Theatre and Conservatory.

AUDIO DRAMA

In 2024, we have developed a new Audio Drama division, with a potential reach of hundreds to thousands of radio stations, plus other outlets. To this end, we are adding to our team some of the most acclaimed Christian professionals from the audio drama world — creative and technical talent from audio dramas that are beloved by millions of people.

OUR VISION

Communicating Christ’s Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.

It’s no secret that we live in a society bombarded by deception, but we don’t need to be on the defensive. Jesus Christ’s truth, beauty and goodness are more than sufficient to obliterate the lies, darkness and corruption. So we refuse to compromise spiritually or artistically, in order to communicate to our audiences something truly transcendent. That’s the vision behind every musical we write and produce.

Commendations and Reviews

Commendation:

“Through the musicals written and performed by the Sanborns, many run into the arms of Jesus for the first time and others engage with him in a fresh way. The multi-talented Sanborns are as good as it gets in Broadway entertainment. And even more, they are profoundly anointed by the Holy Spirit. Their hearts, words, and songs overflow with breathtaking, contagious passion for their Savior.”

-Dr. Wess Stafford, President Emeritus, Compassion International

-Andy Webster, The New York Times
